Especially Kalaimaamani Award 2004 by Government of Tamil Nadu, Thirukkural Chemmal Award 2006 by Thiruvavadurai Aatheenam, Mahatma Gandhi Ahayogi Puraskar by the Governor of Tamil Nadu Government in the year 2007. The Kuntrakkudi Adheenam Kuntrakkudi Adikalaar, The Centenarian Trust of the Centenarian Paramacharya Maha Swami of Kanchi, Thanthai E.V.R. Periyar Award, Tamizh Vaagai Semmal, Kural Neri Selvar and Dr. Malcolm S. Adiseshiah Award from the Tamil Nadu Board of Continuing Education & State Resource Centre for Non-formal Education, Chennai.

V.  Authored 50 Books in Tamil in which more than fifteen books were Prescribed as Text - Books for B.A./ B.Sc., Students in the Universities of Kerala, Bangalore and Mysore and also in the Autonomous Colleges like Chennai Christian College, Chennai Women’s Christian College, Ethiraj College, Chennai, Seethalakshmi College, Tiruchirappalli, Kumbakonam Arts College.

     

     

      Amma Eppa Nee Paattiyaava? - Compilation of Plays was Prescribed as Non-detailed in the 11th and the 12th Standards by the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi. Thiruvalluvar Aathichoodi - Compilation of aphorisms from Thirukkural which was prescribed as Text Book for 4th and 5th Standards in the S.M.S. Matriculation School for the academic years 1995 & 1999.

VI.   Presented more than 40 Research Articles in Tamil and 30 Articles in English in the State, National and International Levels organised by Various Educational and Cultural Institutions.

VII.  Delivered Guest Lectures in the Academic Staff Colleges of Madras, Bharathiyar, Bharathidasan, Pondicherry, Tanjore Universities and also in Madurai Kamaraj University Correspondence Courses, Rajiv Gandhi National Institute for Youth Development, Sriperumputhur, Kancheepuram District.

VIII.                    Contributed 24 Articles entitled Uyiroviyam in Amuthasurabi Monthly issue & 31 Articles on Theivamanimalai in Anmikam Monthly issue regularly since January 1999.  Inaddition to that contributed articles on Literature and Film in The Deepavali Malars of Amuthasurabi and Kalimakal every year.

IX.   Produced many popular Programmes like Sound Track of Tamil Features Films, Nilamutram - Open House programmes, Featres, Radio Plays, Live Phone in Programmes entitled Vannakkalanjiyam and Vannamamimaalaï, Sigaratthai Nokki, Angum Ingum, Nalvazhi Kattum Nayanmarkal, Dhivya Desangal etc. And also presented popular Science Serials, Historical Features and Running Commentaries on the Republic Day Parades in Marina Beach every year and the Inaugural, Budget Sessions of Tamil Nadu Assembly participated by the Governor of Tamil Nadu.

X.     Visited Malaysia, Singapore, London, France, Belgiam, Netherland, Germany, Switzerland, Dubai, Kuwait, etc., and delivered lectures on Personality Development, Effective Communication, Leadership Training, Religious aspects, Social and Cultural subjects.

XI.   Founder Secretary of Mylai Thiruvalluvar Tamil Sangam and rendering his yeomen services to popularise Thirukkural and Thirukkual Cult by conducting Thirukkural Competitions, Workshops, Seminars at State, National and International Level in collaboration with the Central & State Govt. Organisations and also with the Public Sectors and Private Sectors. Conducting Free Thirukkural Classes for five days a week in the Thiruvalluvar Temple in Mylapore. Organizing Medical Camps in connection with the Arubatthu Muvar Thiruvizha every year in collaboration with the N.S.S. students of Madras Medical College.
